Atlanta, Georgia - The Village Skatepark ATL hosted a community mual and block party for the late Young Dolph, a Memphis artist, entrepreneur, philanthropist and community advocate.
Positivity's sponsorship was in partnership with I Am Father First, a non-profit whose mission is to get more men in the homes with their children in Atlanta.
Here is a statement from Keith Lewis the founder of I Am A Father First:
On Saturday we were blessed to help organize the first of many #MelanatedMurals of our fallen kings presented by Shar Bates (@iamsharbates). The first one was special as Young Dolph (@youngdolph) motivated me daily and still does!! His independent, entrepreneurial spirit and his role to his family and community embodied what we represent so it was only right that not only did the Atlanta City Council Byron Amos (@byronamos) present Dolph and his wife Mia Jaye *(@iammiajaye) with a proclamation and making 1/29 “Young Dolph Day” in the City of Atlanta. It’s important we honor the example and life of legends that legacy should NEVER die!!
